Saki Hanakago (花籠咲, Hanakago Saki^?), post marriage Saki Kakehashi (架橋咲, Kakehashi Saki^?), was the deuteragonist of the Platinum End anime series. She was the chosen God candidate of the angel Revel.

Appearance

Saki was a young girl of below-average height with ear-length brown hair that fell just above her shoulders in a choppy fringe. She often looked timid, supported by her rounded face and gentle big brown eyes. In school, she wore the traditional uniform consisting of a clean white shirt underneath the beige school blazer, a plaid skirt, and a pair of calf-length socks in school shoes. A matching green bow in a plaid pattern was secured around her neck.

When she first met Metropoliman, she donned a predominantly yellow motorsport costume that had been personally tailored by Nanato Mukaido to conceal her identity. Her suit was customized after a cat with a stealth-shield headgear that formed a pair of cat ears and a long tail at the back. Saki also wore a mask to conceal her face.

Etymology

• The name Saki means "blossom" (咲).
• Saki's surname Hanakago means "flower, blossom" (花) (hana) and "basket, cage" (籠) (kago).
